IN MEMORIUM
FAYNE E. ERICKSON

"A Catholic, feminist and a
Republican."

Those are the words Fayne
Erickson used to describe
herself. She was a passionate
advocate for women.

At 52 Fayne was a former
publisher of Ms. Magazine as
well as a former president of
Women's Campaign School
at Yale University.  She died
unexpectedly January 28 at
Hartford Hospital.

A former president of the
National Association of Female
Executives (NAFE), she also
served on the board of
directors of the National
Women's Hall of Fame and was
director of FUND Development
at Interval House, a
domestic violence prevention
program in Hartford, CT.

She was very active in her
community, Naugatuck, CT, on
the issue of taxation, and was a
devoted volunteer at her church
and St. Luke's School.

Fayne is survived by her
husband Peter Kulas,
son Ryan Erickson-Kulas
and daughter
Rory Erickson-Kulas,
all of whom were the
